Why is sound or the lack of sound so important to a scene in a film? What kind of messages can it send an audience?- Sound or the lack of sound in a film can add more context and mood than dialogue. It is important to use the correct type of music for a scene to determine tone. For example, a scene might have happy smiling people but if there is sad music the audience might interpret the scene as bittersweet rather than happy like it was intended to. Just like how music is important, the lack of music is just as impactful. A scene where a character has lost their hearing would need silence to show their hearing loss, it wouldn't make sense to add music in a scene like that Explain why it was or was not difficult to come up with sound ideas for a story that would not have visuals for the audience to see.- It was easier to come up with a story using only sound.
